Carri shares the heartbreaking story of losing her son Luke to a drunk driver. Through her powerful message, she hopes to leave a lasting impact on, urging people to always make responsible choices and to never drive impaired.
Her story is a poignant reminder of the real and devastating consequences of impaired driving, emphasizing the importance of safety and responsibility.

We will continue to advocate and educate how technology is the path to eliminate fatalities cause by impaired driving.
In September of 2025, The Luke Roux Foundation and others met with policymakers to highlight the urgent need for impaired-driving prevention technology in all new vehicles.
Thanks to MADD and fellow advocates, momentum for the H.R.4354 - HALT Drunk Driving Act continues to grow.

On the third Sunday of November each year, we gather for the
World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims,
a day to honor lives lost and to
call for safer roads for all.
We stand with families, advocates, and community leaders to remember, reflect, and demand change.

Choosing kindness can be as small as a smile or as significant as preventing a tragedy by never driving impaired.
